Privacy Management Framework

Printer-friendly version

A Privacy Management Framework (PMF) outlines the structure for reducing privacy threats and vulnerabilities.  Establishing a strengthened privacy framework requires a situational analysis of existing governance, procedures, training, and technology tools in place in your organization.  An inventory of the personal information that is collected, used or disclosed by the organization can help ensure that the registration of your particular personal information banks is up-to-date and reflects the requirements of the law and TBS Policies and Directives.

Cistel’s privacy team has assisted numerous organizations and government departments in defining the structure and documentation required to strengthen government PMFs, and thus reducing the risk of privacy breaches.
